Anti-static (PAS) tubing dissipates static electricity and prevents electrification in manufacturing and assembly lines. It can also be used to protect sensitive electronic components from static damage during packaging, storage, and shipping. The additive in the plastic reduces static electric charges by making the material conductive or interacting with moisture in the atmosphere. This creates a microscopic layer of water on the material's surface, providing a conductive path for static dissipation. PAS tubing is designed for applications where Faraday Cage Protection is not required. It can be heat-sealed or taped at one or both ends.
